The Italian Solar Challenge is a complex competition consisting of two components: an endurance race and a technical presentation (“Tech Talk”).

The event takes place on a 5 km Formula 1 circuit, featuring 17 challenging corners and elevation changes that push solar cars to their limits. The race is divided into two 2-hour sessions, separated by a break during which the vehicles can be recharged using solar energy. The winners are determined by the team that covers the greatest distance.

The “Tech Talk” component consists of an approximately 30-minute presentation, during which teams showcase their innovative solutions and explain the technical concepts behind their vehicle to a jury composed of industry specialists, including engineers from Bugatti and Ferrari.

TUCN Racing Team achieved a result of 225 km (45 laps), securing 3rd place out of 6 participating teams.
